The SEAN1000 biological septic tank with filter is an intermediate solution for the initial treatment of wastewater in homes. This initial treatment reduces the toxicity of the wastewater through the action of anaerobic organisms that consume organic matter, transforming it into more stable and less toxic substances.
Corrugated pit and one-piece linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) inner cone with PVC inlet and outlet pipes; specific high-surface-area PP packing.
Primary and secondary treatment by anaerobic digestion of domestic or similar wastewater.
An excessive accumulation of putrescible material at the bottom of the tank can lead to uncontrolled anaerobic digestion. This, in turn, causes excessive biogas formation and the development of unpleasant odors. Furthermore, the reduction in the available volume in the digestion section and the excessive production of gas bubbles contribute to the rise of settled material and, consequently, to a deterioration in the quality of the treated effluent.
For this reason, depending on the loads fed into the pit, 1 to 4 inspections per year should be scheduled, and, if necessary, removal operations.
When removing the bottom filter housing, it is necessary to remove any material that could obstruct the inlet and outlet logs and to wash the filter bed. The filter housings should NEVER be replaced.
