Self-leveling mortar for thicknesses up to 5 mm. Self-leveling mortar for the preparation of interior floors that, once hardened, is suitable for receiving all types of light pavements (ceramic, parquet, carpet, etc.). Indoor floor leveling mortar. High mechanical resistance and good surface resistance. This self-leveling mortar is easy to apply and very fine. It has a high self-leveling power.
Product based on special cements, selected aggregates and additives.
FEATURES AND APPLICATIONS
Indoor floor leveling.
High mechanical resistance
Good surface resistance.
High self-leveling power.
Thickness up to 5 mm.
Concrete, mortar screeds and the like.
The supports must be resistant, stable, healthy and clean, free of dust, traces of release agents, organic products, etc.
Apply primer to avoid the formation of air bubbles in the coating and improve its adherence to the substrate.
If necessary, the support must be prepared by mechanical means, so that it has a surface without superficial grouts and of adequate porosity.
Prior to the application of NIVELAND 5, the cracks and / or cracks that may be found in the support must be adequately repaired.
Before applying the paste, you must make sure that the residual humidity is below that recommended (less than 3%).
HOW TO USE
Add water (5.5 to 6 L per bag) and mix with a low speed mechanical mixer (approx. 500 rpm.) Until obtaining a smooth and homogeneous paste.
Let the dough rest for about 2 minutes and knead.
The pot life of the paste is about 20 minutes, depending on the environmental conditions.
Pour the kneaded product on the laying base and spread it with a leveling trowel.
The maximum recommended thickness is 2 to 5 mm. applied in a single coat.
PRECAUTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Do not apply below 5ºC or above 30ºC.
Do not apply with risk of frost, rain, strong winds or direct sun.
Do not apply on floors with humidity or risk of having it.
Do not add water to the product once it begins to harden after mixing.
Do not apply outdoors.
For floors with surfaces greater than 20 m2 or more than 10 linear meters, it is recommended to perform partition joints, delimiting panels, with joints of about 6 mm that can be filled with PUMALASTIC MS or PU.
The movement joints of the original support must be respected and perimeter joints must be made. The surface layer has to be protected from too fast drying, especially in conditions of high temperature and / or strong wind.
Before laying the final flooring, the residual moisture of the screed must be checked and checked if it is adequate according to the type of flooring to be installed.
