MARFIL 11/22 gravel big bag
Big bag of red gravel normally used for decorating gardens and flower beds. It can also be used to make concrete, both because it is one of the cheapest, and because of its granulometry, to achieve greater resistance. The granulometry (size of the pebbles) ranges from 11 mm. up to 22 mm.
HOW TO USE
Usually, to lay a layer of gravel for decorative purposes, a base of ANTI-GRASS MESH is previously placed. In this way, the emergence of weeds through the gravel pebbles is prevented.
Normally, the thickness of the recommended gravel layer is between 5 cm. and 10 cm.. In this way, knowing the surface to be covered and the desired thickness, we can find out the total volume of gravel that we will need.
Taking into account that each bag contains approximately 0.6 m3, we can calculate the total number of bags that we will need to cover a given area.
You can see a video example of how to place the gravel, by clicking on the following LINK.
In the case of using it to make concrete, it is enough to mix it homogeneously with cement, sand and water.
